New Vande Bharat Train Finalized for Tirupati Route: Vijayawada–Bengaluru Service to Launch on December 10

New Vande Bharat Vijayawada–Bengaluru Service
Great news for devotees travelling to Tirumala and passengers heading to Bengaluru. Indian Railways has finalized the long-awaited Vande Bharat Express between Vijayawada and Bengaluru via Tirupati, giving a major boost to connectivity in the Telugu states. After months of anticipation, the train schedule has now been officially set, and the launch is expected to take place on December 10.
A Big Relief for Tirumala Devotees & Bengaluru Travelers
With the growing popularity of Vande Bharat trains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Railways has green-signaled another high-speed service. This new train is specially routed via Tirupati, catering to thousands of devotees and daily commuters.
The train is designed to cover:
- Vijayawada to Tirupati in just 4.5 hours
- Vijayawada to Bengaluru in only 9 hours
This saves nearly 3 hours of travel time compared to conventional express trains.
Why the Delay?
Although approval for this service was granted months ago, the launch was delayed due to coach availability issues. Railway officials had already agreed in May to prioritize allotment for the Vijayawada–Bengaluru route after receiving repeated passenger requests. Now, with the required coaches ready, the train is set for departure.
